"Sa Amin: Our Place" delves into the untold tales of Filipinos in San Francisco's South of Market, revealing their battle against urban displacement. The documentary features compelling interviews with community pillars like Teresa Dulalas and Tina Alejo, and introduces emerging leaders like Janine Lacap, enriched by unseen 1970s archival footage from filmmaker Sam Tagatac. This narrative aims to reshape perceptions of San Francisco, emphasizing the Filipino community's fight for cultural and residential space.
