Chronicling the determined efforts of Filipino activists, artists, and families to stake their claim against urban displacement due to property development and tech influx, the film showcases impactful interviews with community leaders like Teresa Dulalas, Tina Alejo, and Janine Lacap.
Enhanced by rare 1970s archival footage from filmmaker Sam Tagatac, this narrative by Dyan Ruiz and Nix Guirre, produced by [people.power.media] and backed by SF Urban Film Fest, redefines San Francisco's narrative, emphasizing the Filipino community's fight for cultural preservation.
