CAAMFest: Larry the Musical Sneak Preview

  • Grand Star Theater 636 Jackson Street San Francisco, CA, 94133 United States (map)

An unsung hero. A workers rights legacy. A critical moment in American history. Larry The Musical lifts up the life of Larry Itliong with rhythm and chorus. Based on the biography, “Journey for Justice: The Life of Larry Itliong,” by Dr. Mabalon and Gayle Romasanta, the musical tells the story of the workers rights icon, from birth to his posthumous recognition of “Larry Itliong Day” by the State of California in 2015. Be moved by a tremendous Broadway caliber cast, and a wealth of original songs, see behind-the-scenes footage of practices, scene, and songwriting in a very special sneak peak of a project destined for high notes.
